Our Commitment

We recognise in the world today it is imperative for everyone to protect the planet by limiting their impact on the environment. At Hammonds LLP we acknowledge that our activities can affect the environment and the firm's management has committed to take steps to reduce our environmental impact and to support continuous improvements in our environmental performance.

Environmental regulations, laws and codes of practice will be regarded as setting the minimum standards of environmental performance. We aim to do more.

Specific Goals

• To appoint an environmental co-ordinator in each office.
• To add "environment" as a standing agenda to the focus group meetings.
• To set up a "Green Pages" on the firm's intranet site to communicate initiatives and achievements and to act as a post box to receive ideas.
• To promote and encourage our staff to champion green initiatives.
• To minimise the generation of all waste.
• To reduce our use and disposal of stationary and electrical and electronic equipment.
• To reduce our consumption of electricity, gas and water.
• To reduce the impact our travel has on the environment.
• To promote recycling and use of recycled materials wherever feasible.
• To monitor our progress and publish an annual environmental performance report.
• To reduce the Carbon Footprint of the firm's activities.
