Members of the Asset Finance team advise on and handle all aspects of non-contentious asset finance and leasing transactions, including finance and operating leases, conditional sale and hire purchase agreements and the acquisition of leasing portfolios.

The team also has considerable experience in producing bespoke documentation for lease financiers.

We also have experience of acting on the contentious side of asset finance, particularly in prosecuting fraud perpetrators against finance companies for the recovery of equipment, disputes relating to the sale and supply of goods including claims over title, conversion, quality and suitability of equipment, agency misrepresentation, claims under guarantees and indemnities.

In addition, members of the team have considerable experience in mediation in the finance industry, particularly in the sales aid sector.

On the consumer credit side, the team advises credit providers on all compliance issues including OFT investigations, advertising and drafting regulated agreements.
